Jimmy Lee Tillman II was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 1st Congressional District of Illinois. Tillman was defeated by Donald Peloquin in the Republican primary on March 20, 2012. [1]

Tillman ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 1st District. Tillman sought the nomination on the Republican ticket. [2][3] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, with the primary taking place on March 20, 2012. Incumbent Bobby Rush won in the Democratic primary. Candidate Donald Peloquin won in the Republican primary, defeating Tillman.[1]
