Joan Ballweg (b. March 16, 1952) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 41st District since 2005 and currently serving as Majority Caucus Chair. She also served as Mayor of the City of Markesan from 1991-1997 and on the Markesan Council from 1987-1991.

Ballweg is a member of the Management Committee for Agnesian HealthCare Enterprises, Limited Liability Company. Ballweg was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 41. She defeated Democrat Scott Milheiser in the general election on November 2, 2010. She defeated Republican Nicholas Quade in the September 14, 2010 primary election.[2]
