Joan Ballweg (b. March 16, 1952) is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 41st District since 2005. She also served as Mayor of the City of Markesan from 1991-1997 and on the Markesan Council from 1987-1991.

Ballweg is a member of the Management Committee for Agnesian HealthCare Enterprises, Limited Liability Company. She has also been involved with Markesan District Schools, Markesan Chamber of Commerce, Citizen School Building Committee, Markesan Parent Teacher Association, and the Women's Council.[1]
