Joanne Verger (b. July 19, 1930) is a former Democratic member of the Oregon State Senate. Verger was on the Coos Bay City Council from 1990 to 1992. She then served as Mayor of Coos Bay, Oregon, from 1992 to 2000. She served in the Oregon State House of Representatives from 2000 to 2005. Verger joined the Oregon State Senate in 2005 and served until her retirement in 2013.

Verger has worked as a Speech Therapist. She has also worked in advertising and marketing. She is currently the Co-Owner of Verger Chrysler Plymouth Dodge.

Verger attended both Louisiana State University and Northwestern State University.
