Jody Singleton was a Republican candidate for District 85 of the Alabama House of Representatives. The primary election was on June 1, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Singleton graduated from Troy State University in 1991. He currently works as a Certified Public Accountant for his own firm and is also a managing member of Avinna, LLC. Singleton is also an entrepreneur.

Singleton and his wife, Amy, have three children.

Singleton defeated Bobby Lewis in the June 1 primary. He was then defeated by Dexter Grimsley in the November 2 general election.[1][2]
