Joe Hune (b. May 29, 1980) is a Republican member of the Michigan State Senate, representing District 22 since January 1, 2011. Prior to joining the Michigan Senate, Hune served in the Michigan House representing District 47 for six years. In 2002, he became the youngest serving member of the Michigan Legislature.

Before his time in the legislature, Hune owned and operated an agribusiness in Fowlerville, MI. Today, joe still raises livestock and exotic animals on the family farm. He has previously worked as a journal clerk and Page at the Capitol, a real estate agent, and a livestock judge.

Hune graduated from Cleary University with a B.S. in Financial Planning. He also attended Michigan State University for a time, and graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1998.

Hune won election to the 22nd District of the Michigan State Senate in 2010. He defeated Democrat Chuck Fellows and Libertarian Todd Richardson in the November 2 general election.[1]
