John Cosgrove is a Republican member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 78 since 2002.

Since 1987 Cosgrove has worked as an Aerospace Engineering Officer with United States Navy Reserves. He served on the Chesapeake City Council from 1998-2000, and as Vice-Mayor from 2000-2001.[1]

Cosgrove's official website states that he "has focused his efforts on improving public safety, education, transportation and protecting the Chesapeake Bay, as well as our family values."[2]
