John Hastert (b. November 20, 1958) is a Democratic member of the Wyoming State Senate. He has represented District 13. He served as Minority Caucus Leader from 2009 to 2010, and does so again in the 2013-2014 session. Hastert held the position of Minority Floor Leader in the 2011-2012 session.[1]

Hastert ran for the Wyoming State Senate, District 13 in 1998 but was defeated. He went on to be appointed to the Wyoming House of Representatives in 2003 and served in this position until 2006.

Hastert has worked as a mechanic. He has attended Western Wyoming College as well as Denver Automotive and Diesel College.[2]
