Elections for the office of New York State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Incumbent Catherine Nolan was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Walter Iwachiw was removed from the ballot before the Republican primary. Nolan also ran on the Working Families Party ticket. John Kevin Wilson ran as a Libertarian candidate. Nolan defeated Wilson in the general election.[2][3][4]
