John Moolenaar is a Republican member of the Michigan State Senate, representing the 36th District since January 1, 2011. Prior to his time in the Senate, Moolenaar served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 98 from 2002 to 2008. John has also served on the Midland City Council. Moolenaar was named Legislator of the Year in 2004 by the Michigan Townships Association and the Michigan Farm Bureau.
