John Pinto is a Democratic member of the New Mexico Senate. Pinto joined the New Mexico State Senate in 1976. He has served in that position since, representing the 3rd district.

Pinto has worked as a Legislative Liaison, School Teacher, and in Tribal Government.

Pinto earned his BS and MA from the University of New Mexico.
