Cox is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Alaska's at-large District. Cox is seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. [1] He faces incumbent Don Young in the August 28, 2012 primary. Doug Urquidi and Frank Vondersaar are running in the Democratic primary. In addition, Ted Gianoutsos is running as an Independent candidate and Jim McDermott as a Libertarian.
Personal
Cox has three children and two grandchildren.[2]
