John Savage (b. July 18, 1944) is a former Republican member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives.

Savage earned his BA from Providence College in 1966. He went on to receive his MEd from Providence College in 1973.

Savage formerly worked as the Principal of East Providence School Department. He now works as a Teacher.

In 1999, Savage joined the Rhode Island House of Representatives and served in that position until his retirement in 2013.

Savage won re-election to the 65th District Seat in 2010. He defeated Stephanie Sivalingam in the September 14 Republican primary election and faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][3]
