John Sullivan is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. Sullivan has served in the Illinois Senate since 2003. Sullivan was re-elected in November of 2006 with his term expiring in 2010.

Sullivan graduated from Qunicy College. Before becoming a Senator, Sullivan was a real estate agent.
