Johnnie Crutchfield was a Democratic member of the Oklahoma State Senate, representing the 14th District. Crutchfield was elected to the Senate in 1998. In 2010, he was term limited.

Crutchfield received a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and a Masters Degree in Education from Southeastern State College. He went on to complete post-graduate work at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to serving as senator, Crutcfield is a rancher. Previously, Crutchfield worked as a classroom teacher at Ardmore Public Schools from 1970-1998.

Crutchfield was born on February 16, 1947 in Denton, Texas. Crutchfield is married to Kipp and together have two daughters, Kristi and Candice. They currently reside in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
