Johnny S. Joannou is a Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 79. He was first elected to the chamber in 1975, serving until 1983, and he was elected to his current tenure 1997.

Joannou served in the Virginia State Senate from 1984 to 1991.

Biography

Joannou earned his B.S. in public administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1962 and his L.L.B. from T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond in 1969. Joannou is an attorney with the firm of Joannou, Knowles & Associates.[1]
