Johnny Stringer (b. February 1, 1950) is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 87. He was first elected to the chamber in 1979.

Biography

Stringer's professional experience includes working as a farmer. He served in the Mississippi National Guard.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Stringer won re-election to District 87 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and defeated Daniel Kilpatrick in the November 8 general election. [2]

On November 6, 2007 Stringer was re-elected in District 87, defeating Republican challenger Daniel Kilpatrick in the general election.[3] He defeated Mike Lawson in the primary election.[4]
