Jon Richards (b. September 5, 1963) is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 19th District since 1999.

Richards has worked as an attorney and an English teacher in Japan. He is a member of a number of organizations, including the American Council of Young Political Leaders, Bay View Neighborhood Association, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Milwaukee Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corps.[1]

Richards was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 19. He defeated Republican Krista Burns in the general election is on November 2, 2010. Richards was unopposed in the September 14, 2010 primary election.[3]
