Hodge ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 88. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary election and faced incumbent Gary Staples (R) and Donald Holifield in the November 8 general election. Staples defeated Hodge and Holifield in the general election. [1]
