Jonathan Wright is a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 4 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Biography

Wright was born in Richmond, Virginia but grew up in Detroit.[1] He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and later earned his J.D. from Florida A&M. The certified youth minister served as an intern at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office before deciding to run for public office in 2012.[2]

Wright is running in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 4. He is running against Carol Banks, Marcelus Brice, Paris Canty, Mohammed Hassan, Adam Hollier, Ernest Little, Rose Mary Robinson, Beverly Tran, Mervin White and Robert Zwolak in the Democratic primary on August 7. Incumbent Maureen Stapleton (D) is running in District 6. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [3]
