Campaign themes

On his Facebook campaign website, Johnson lists three issues he is concerned about.[3] They are:

  • Education
Excerpt: "We need to ensure that the schools in our district and throughout the state not only receive the funding they need, but that the teachers are not burdened by rules, administration, and bureaucracy that prevent student success."
  • Transportation
Excerpt: "we need to act now and think outside the box to lessen the congestion on roads while also finding alternative modes of transportation that are both effective and appealing to our citizens."
  • Government
Excerpt: "our elected represenatives in the state capitol aren't passing the laws that are necessary to keep money in your pocket and they aren't passing laws to attract businesses and wealthy individuals (those who provide jobs) to our District or our state."
