Joseph Mascia was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 149 of the New York State Assembly. While he lost the Democratic nomination, he will be on the ballot for the Conservative Party.

Mascia is running in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 149. He lost against Kevin P. Gaughan and District 144 incumbent Sean M. Ryan in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. Mascia also ran unopposed on the Conservative Party ticket and will face Ryan and David Bellissimo in the general election on November 6, 2012.
