Joe Zakas (b. November 7, 1950) is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 11 and currently serving as Senate Majority Whip. He was first elected to the chamber in 1982.

Zakas earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1972 and his M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 1980. His professional experience includes working as an attorney for Thorne, Grodnik, Limited Liability Partnership.
