Juan Carlos Escamilla is a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 4. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.

Escamilla resigned as mayor of San Luis, Arizona in order to run for District 4 of the Arizona House of Representatives.[1] Prior to serving as mayor, Escamilla served as a City Council member from November 2001 to May 2004.[2]

Escamilla won election in the 2012 election for Arizona House of Representatives District 4. Escamilla and Lisa Otondo defeated Charlene Fernandez in the Democratic primary on August 28, 2012. The two candidates are unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
