Haich is running in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 36. Haich ran unopposed in the Republican primary on September 13, 2012. Incumbent Aravella Simotas ran unopposed in the Democratic primary; she is also running on the Working Families Party ticket. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [1][2]


Julia is the daughter of immigrants, and earned her Master's degree in Poland, the country of her parents origin.[3]
