Karen Kusiak is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 84 since 2012. [1][2] Kusiak got her Bachelor's from Colby College, her Master's from Lesley University and her Ed.D from the University of Maine.[3] She has served on the Fairfield-based school board for 15 years.[4]

Issues

Kusiak feels very strongly about education and she says some of her major campaign issues are education and the state of the roadways.[5]

Kusiak won election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 84. Kusiak defeated Edward Finch in the June 12 Democratic primary and defeated incumbent John Picchiotti (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7]
