Ken Block (b. October 11, 1965 in Milford, Connecticut) is a Moderate Party candidate for Governor of Rhode Island in the 2014 elections.

Block was previously the 2010 Moderate Party candidate for Governor of Rhode Island. He is the founder of the Moderate Party of Rhode Island.

Block is a software engineer and entrepreneur. He serves as president of Simpatico Software Systems and Cross Alert Systems.

Block earned his BA in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.[1]

Block is running for election as Governor of Rhode Island.[2] Block is seeking the Moderate Party nomination in the primary. The general election takes place November 4, 2014.

Block was defeated in his bid for governor in 2010. He faced Frank T. Caprio (D), John F. Robitaille (R), Lincoln Chafee (I), Ronald Algieri (I), Todd Giroux (I), and Joseph M. Lusi (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
