Ken Kester (b. March 16, 1936) was a Republican member of the Colorado State Senate from 2003 to 2011. He represented the 2nd district.

Kester was County Commissioner from 1975 to 1987 and from 1994 to 1998. He then served in the Colorado State House of Representatives from 1998 to 2002.

Kester received his high school diploma and currently works as a businessman.

On November 7, 2006, Kester was elected to the 2nd District Seat in the Colorado State Senate, defeating opponent Michael R. Griego (D).[1]
