Ken Ulman was a Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Maryland in the 2014 elections.[1] His gubernatorial running-mate is current incumbent Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown.[2] He currently serves as Howard County Executive.[3]

Biography

Ulman ran his law firm and served as a member of the Howard County Council from 2002-2006, when he became Howard County Executive.[3][4]

Ulman ran for Lieutenant Governor of Maryland on a joint ticket with current Lt. Gov. and 2014 gubernatorial candidate Anthony G. Brown.[1][5] The general election took place November 4, 2014.

Endorsements

The Brown-Ulman ticket has received the endorsement of U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD).[2]

2010

Ulman was elected to a second term as Howard County Executive in 2010.[3]

2006

Ulman was first elected as Howard County Executive in 2006. He with 52.1 percent of the votes he defeated Repbulican Christopher J. Merdon and C. Stephen Wallis.[4]

Personal

Ulman is a Howard County resident. He is married to Jacqueline Ulman. They have two daughters, Maddie and Lily.[3]
