Ken Vaughn was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 11th Congressional District of Virginia.

Vaughn is an engineering consultant.[1]

According to his website, Vaughn's campaign platform included the following issues[2]:

  • Cap federal spending at 17% of GDP
  • More local control of education
  • Domestic oil drilling

Vaughn had also proposed a plan to have Democrats and Republicans put forth spending priorities, and revenues would go to those areas and any leftover funds would be distributed to Representatives for spending in their districts.[1]
