Kenneth Wiezer is a 2012 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 12th Congressional District of Illinois.


Wiezer's family has resided in southern Illinois for generations, including Mulkeytown, (Franklin County), Williamson County, and Simpson, Illinois. [1]

Wiezer is running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 12th District. Wiezer is seeking the nomination on the Democratic ticket. [2] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, with the primary taking place on March 20, 2012.


Wiezer, is a participant in the National Genographic Global DNA Database project, which researches and holds the ancestry of people worldwide which dates back well over 40,000 years ago. [3]
