Biography

Wiezer's family has resided in southern Illinois for generations, including Mulkeytown, (Franklin County), Williamson County, and Simpson, Illinois. [1]

Wiezer was running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Illinois' 12th District. Wiezer was seeking the nomination on the Democratic ticket. [2] The signature filing deadline was December 27, 2011, with the primary taking place on March 20, 2012.

Wiezer, is a participant in the National Genographic Global DNA Database project, which researches and holds the ancestry of people worldwide which dates back well over 40,000 years ago. [3]
