He also ran on the Working Families Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets. He was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Zebrowski ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. He defeated Frank Sparaco (R) in the general election on November 2.[4] In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, he was also listed as a candidate of the Independence Party of New York State, and Working Families Party.
