Kent Lambert is a Republican member of the Colorado State Senate. He has represented the 9th district since 2011. He is also a former member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing the 14th District from 2007 to 2011.

Lambert served as a Colonel in the United States Air Force from 1974-2004, and has worked as a legislative aide to Colorado State Representatives Dave Schultheis and Keith King.

He is a member of many organizations, including the American Legion, Association of Old Crows, Colorado Club for Growth, Colorado Union of Taxpayers, The Heritage Foundation, The Independence Institute, and National Rifle Association, present[1]


Lambert did not provide answers to the Colorado State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Lambert was eligible but did not seek re-election to the 14th District seat. He instead won election to the district 9 seat of the Colorado State Senate. He won, running unopposed, in the November 2 general election.


On November 4, 2008, Lambert won re-election to the 14th District seat in the Colorado House of Representatives, defeating opponent Chyrese Exline (D).[3]

Lambert raised $14,343 for his campaign, while Exline raised $1,650.[4]
