Kent Sorenson (b. March 29, 1972) is a Republican member of the Iowa State Senate, representing the 37th District since January 10, 2011. Before his senatorship, Sorenson served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2009 to 2011.

Sorenson is Owner/Operator of Pro-Kleen Maintenance, a soccer coach, and a volunteer fire fighter.[1]
