FRANKFORT, Kentucky: As Kentucky continues to linger without new redistricting maps for the 2010 Census report, a special session is likely to be scheduled next week.
Governor Steve Beshear (D), State Senate President Robert Stivers and State House Speaker Greg Stumbo are working together on setting the date for a special session.[1]
A special session date is expected to be known by June 21.[2]
So far in 2013 there have been 5 total special sessions in the 50 states.
