Kentwood & Wyoming Charter Amendments, 2 (May 2010)
Both measures were approved
The Kentwood charter amendment sought to change the amount of tax revenues allocated to the fire and police services in the city. The increase would be by 2 mills, for a total of 6.25 mills.
The Wyoming charter amendment sought to add a provision that would designate 1.25 mills to the maintenance and operation of public safety entities in the city. The tax would need to be renewed every five years.
