Kevin C. Kelly is a Republican member of the Connecticut State Senate. He has represented the 21st district since 2011 and currently serves as Minority Whip.

Kelly attended Notre Dame Law School. He earned his BA from Assumption College in 1982. He went on to receive his MA from Fairfield University in 1985. He then earned a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1997.

Kelly has worked in the following positions: investigator for the Connecticut Department of Social Services, associate of Zeldes, Needle & Cooper, P.C. of Bridgeport, partner of Bishop, Jackson & Kelly, LLC, and as assistant town attorney for Stratford from 1999 to 2005.

Kelly ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut State Senate District 21. Kelly ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012. He also ran unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012. John Dempsey is an official registered write-in candidate.[1][2][3]
