Kevin Cahill (b. November 5, 1955) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 101 from 1992-1994 and currently since 1999. Cahill's political experiences include being a delegate to the Democratic National Convention; minority leader and county legislator for Ulster County Legislature; and a committee person for Ulster County Democratic Committee.

Cahill is an attorney. His professional experiences include director of the Medicare Plan; executive in Wellcare; and health care financing administration.

Cahill earned a BA in political science from the State University of New York, New Paltz and a JD from Albany Law School. He has two children.[1]

Cahill ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. He defeated Peter Rooney (R) in the general election on November 2. In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, he was also listed as a candidate of the Working Families Party.[2]
