Kevin Cahill (b. November 5, 1955) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 103 since 2013. He previously represented District 101 from 1992 to 1994 and again from 1999 to 2013. Cahill's political experiences include being a delegate to the Democratic National Convention; minority leader and county legislator for Ulster County Legislature; and a committee person for Ulster County Democratic Committee.

Cahill is an attorney. His professional experiences include director of the Medicare Plan; executive in Wellcare; and health care financing administration.

Cahill earned a BA in political science from the State University of New York, New Paltz and a JD from Albany Law School. He has two children.[1]

Cahill ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 103. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Working Families Party and Independence Party of New York State tickets.[2] He was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [3][4]

Cahill ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. He defeated Peter Rooney (R) in the general election on November 2. In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, he was also listed as a candidate of the Working Families Party.[5]
