Kevin Petersen is a United States Republican politician Wisconsin State Representative from Wisconsin's 40th Assembly District.

Early life and career

Kevin Petersen was born in Waupaca, WI on December 14, 196. He is married and has 2 children. He is a Graduate of Waupaca H.S. in 1983 and was a graduate of B.S.M.E. of the University of New Mexico in 1989. Kevin is a co-owner family-run electronics corporation. He served in U.S. Navy sub service from 1983-94 and isa Persian Gulf War veteran.[1]

Political career

Prior to being elected as a state representative in 2006, Petersen was a Supervisor for the Town of Dayton.

Kevin Petersen sits on the following committees; Aging and Long-Term Care, Energy and Utilities, Vice Chair of Homeland Security and State Preparedness and Veterans and Military Affairs.[2]
