Kevin Wade was a 2014 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Delaware.[1]

Wade was previously a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Delaware.


Wade worked at a steel mill following high school graduation. He then earned his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware. Wade founded his own engineering business when he was 29 and still runs it today.[2]

Wade ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. Senate, to represent Delaware. Wade sought the Republican nomination in the primary on September 9, 2014. The general election took place November 4, 2014.

Wade ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Delaware. He sought the nomination on the Republican ticket.[3][4] The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was July 10, 2012. The primary election was held on September 11, 2012. Wade ran unopposed in the primary election and moved on to the general election on November 6, 2012. He lost to incumbent Democrat Tom Carper.[5]
