Kimberly Lightford is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. She has represented District 4 since 1998 and currently serves as an Assistant Majority Leader. Lightford was re-elected in November of 2010 with her term expiring in 2015.

Lightford is a full time State Senator. Lightford graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois and her Master's in Public Administration from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana.
