Running-Marquardt is running in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 69. Running-Marquardt ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012. No Republican candidates filed in the district. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

2010

Running-Marquardt won re-election to the 33rd District seat in 2010. She faced no opposition in the June 8 primary. Josh Thurston ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election was held on November 2.[3]
