A Kirtland City Senior Services Levy Renewal measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the city of Kirtland, which is in Lake County.
This measure was approved
- YES 1,924 (64.93%)
- NO 1,039 (35.07%) [1]
This measure sought to renew the current senior services levy of $.85 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years in order to fund senior services offered in the city as well as the operation of recreational facilities. Although the current levy does not expire until 2012, city officials wanted to put it to a vote early in case it did not pass and that it saves the city money. [2]
