Kitty Rhoades (b. April 7, 1951) is Secretary of Wisconsin's Department of Health Services. She was named to this position by Gov. Scott Walker (R) on February 22, 2013.[1]

Rhoades is a former Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. She represented the 30th District from 1998 to 2010.

Rhoades has worked as a teacher, consultant, and a small business owner.

She currently serves as President of the Suburban Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Ducks Unlimited, Saint Croix County Homemakers, Saint Patrick's Pastoral Council, United Way Board, and Foundation Board, University of Wisconsin River Falls Alumni.[2]

  • AB-148 U.W. Board of Regents: appointment of one citizen member from each congressional district required

Rhoades was appointed as secretary of Wisconsin's Department of Health Services by Gov. Scott Walker (R) on February 22, 2013.[1]

2010

On March 17, 2010, Rhoades sent a letter out to supporters stating that she would be retiring at the end of her current term.[3]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Rhoades won re-election to Assembly District 30, receiving 54.74% of the vote.[4]
