Klint Kesto is a 2012 Republican candidate for District 39 of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Kesto is a small business owner and attorney, working as an assistant prosecutor for Wayne County. He has worked for the United States Department of Energy and the United States Department of Justice. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, receiving a B.A. in Political Science, and a 2006 graduate of the Wayne State University Law School in Detroit.[1][2]

Kesto is running in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 39. He is running against Albert Clawson, Nicholas Kennedy, Brad Hantler, Bubba Urdan, and Kristine Zrinyi in the Republican primary on August 7. Incumbent Lisa Brown (D) is not running for re-election. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [3]

Campaign themes

Kesto supports lowering taxes, increasing the police force, and reforming the penal justice system. He seeks to reduce regulations the amount of red tape businesses must contend with, and supports anti-bullying laws.[4]
