Kraig Paulsen (b. September 9, 1964) is a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 35th District since 2003. He is the current Speaker of the House and previously served as Minority Leader.

Paulsen is In-House Counsel for CRST International, Incorporated. He has also been Shirt Production Supervisor with Cryovac from 1997-2003, and served in the United States Air Force from 1987-1997.[1]

Paulsen won re-election to the 35th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. He was also unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[3]

On November 4, 2008, Paulsen was re-elected to the 35th District Seat in the Iowa House of Representatives, defeating Mike Robinson (D). [4] Paulsen raised $357,761 for his campaign, while Robinson raised $8,919. [5]
