Hoffman won re-election in the 2012 election for Kansas House of Representatives District 116. He defeated Terry Nunemaker in the August 7 Republican primary and defeated District 80 incumbent Vincent Wetta (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
