Kyle Johansen is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 1st District since 2007.

Johansen is the Owner of the Johansen Consulting Company, and previously served as a legislative aide to Representative Bill Williams from 1994-2000. He received his BA in Elementary Education from Washington State University.[1]

Issue positions

Johansen did not provide answers to the 2008 Political Courage Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Johansen is running for re-election to the 1st District Seat in 2010. He has no opposition in the August 24 primary. Ottar Mobley is running for the seat on the Democratic ticket. The general election takes place on November 2, 2010.

2008

In 2008 Johansen was elected to the Alaska House of Representatives District 1. He was unopposed in the election and finished with 5,327 votes.[4] Johansen raised $26,529 for his campaign fund.[5]
